Hello, I’m interested in getting my nasal tip rotated, ideally to form a 106 degree nasolabial angel. I’ve also noticed that my upper lateral cartilage may be somewhat large, and I think reducing that would be necessary to rotate my nose up. Can nose tips be rotated upwards by removing this excess upper lateral cartilage? If it is, is the remaining upper lateral cartilage then sutured to the nasal bone, essentially pulling or “lifting” up the tip by doing so? Hope that made some sense

I have seen this once before. A patient had a rhinoplasty where a braided permanent suture was used. We had to widely open her nose, remove every single suture, flush it with antibiotic solution and then close. No new infections and her nose looks awesome. Do you know what kind of sutur...
You are still very early in the healing process and it is too early to evaluate your final results. Swelling can dramatically mask the nasal appearance. It could take a year for the swelling to completely resolve so try to be patient as you allow your body more time to heal.
