slight skin separation during the first few weeks after an abdominoplasty. That
being said, from your picture, your incision looks red, showing signs of a
potential infection or delayed wound healing. I recommend following up with
your operating surgeon as soon as possible. He/she best knows your individual situation
and can assess your recovery progression. After the examination, carefully
follow your doctor’s advice.

At 10 days post op it is not uncommon to have small wound separation keep the area dry and covered and continue to follow up with your PS.Best wishes.

bloodlure. I appreciate your concern, however it is still early in your recovery from Tummytuck surgery. It does appear that you may be experiencing delayed wound healing and close follow up by your plastic surgeon is needed.  Diligent wound care should ease your healing process.  Follow up with your surgeon as soon as possible.
