I have thought since I was young that once I fully mature into my breasts they would look better, but nothing has really changed besides some stretch marks after losing weight recently. I'm seriously considering surgery, whether saline or augmentation using body fat to reconstruct (is fat augmentation possible in my situation?) Also I want to reduce the size of my areolas. I guess I just want a new chest all together. (In the photos I am covering up a tattoo for the sake of anonymity)
Answer: Tuberous breast deformity You do have many tuberous features to your breasts. Everything that you have mentioned (implants, areolar reduction and elevation) is a part of the typical treatment. Fat augmentation is usually not that helpful unless you have enough fat elsewhere to give (doesn't seem that way from your photos). You would see a plastic surgeon to consider breast lift, areolar reduction, and if you would like more volume, breast implants.Be sure to discuss with your board certified plastic surgeon exactly what your goals are, and how reliably they can be expected to be achieved.

Answer: Do I have tuberous breast deformity? Yes, and I think that breast augmentation and areolar reduction would be reasonable based upon the pictures submitted.

Answer: Tuberous Breasts Hello,Thank you for your question and photos. You do appear to have Tuberous breast constriction. Tubular breasts are classified by several features. These include the breast protruding into the areola, large, possibly deformed nipples and/or areola complex, an abnormally short distance between the areola and the breast fold or misshapen, under developed breasts with a constricted base. A dark ring around the areola may also exist. A common treatment technique involves releasing this constricted breast tissue by making internal radial incisions that allow it to splay out properly. These incisions are done internally so the patient doesn’t see anything externally. In most cases the Plastic Surgeon will suggest the placement of an implant, typically in the sub-mammary position to better influence the breast’s shape and to add greater volume. If excess or sagging skin is present, surgeons may recommend performing a breast lift as part of the procedure as well.Your expectation for changing the appearance of your breasts should be realistic as there will be some limitations, but certainly there are options.Be sure to seek a board certified Plastic Surgeon with experience in this area. All the best

Answer: Saline implants could correct your tuberous breast deformity It does appear that you have tuberous breast deformity, and you could get a very nice result with saline breast implants and areola reduction. Your plastic surgeon should be able to show you before and after pictures of women similar to you. Best wishes and good luck. For more information on this and similar topics, I recommend a plastic surgery Q&A book like "The Scoop On Breasts: A Plastic Surgeon Busts the Myths."

Answer: Tuberous breasts It appears from your photographs that you do in fact have tuberous breasts. The condition can be greatly improved with surgery. The procedure is more complicated than a straightforward breast augmentation, so I encourage you to schedule a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon with a lot of breast surgery experience. Best wishes to you!
