My take on your question is that your doctor is asking you if you want to buy an insurance offer from him or her personally that would guarantee they handle any problems should they arise? Each and every surgeon has a cosmetic financial policy that outlines what happens if you have a complication. Usually it means you pay anesthesia and facility and the surgeon will waive their fee if they deem it is necessary to take you back to the operating room. There is no insurance company that will cover any complication you have from a cosmetic procedure. So if what you are asking is the scenario I describe I would first ask what the policy is of your surgeon if you have a postoperative complication without buying this "insurance."
