Implants done 10 years ago. 1 breast was dropping & softer so I went to my BA Dr and got an MRI. It has ruptured and is incapsule. It will be removed and I want to replace both with a size smaller(480cc now). Since I have to go away first week of March, and my Dr is away all of April I will going in for surgery May 10.I asked the Dr how soon should the ruptured one be remove, he said since it's all within the capsule anywhere from a month to year. Is it fine to leave for this amount of time?

Hello,Thank you for your question. Yes, some discomfort and muscle weakness can be present at 4 weeks post op. I allow my patients to begin resuming upper body workouts and strenuous activity with the arms at 6 weeks post op. Initially I advise them to start light and work their way up to more...
Hello,Thank you for your question and photos. Based on the pictures, you do appear to have some malposition/bottoming out of the implants. I recommend that you be seen in person so that your Plastic Surgeon can assess and talk about options.
