Treated for syphilis over 6 years ago. RPR still comes back positive/reactive this day, titers have never shown re-infection. Titers have always been 1:1 after treatment. I’m healthy outside of this. Is surgery still possible? This is so frustrating since I have been through treatment but still show reactive. Infectious disease specialist says RPR may always been reactive but titers show no new infection.
