The decision to combine or stage multiple body contouring procedures requires the consideration of several factors. Operative time is perhaps the key consideration. For safety reasons, I prefer to limit the length of my procedures to 4 hours where possible. In some cases this would allow for both a thigh lift and breast lift, but for most patients I would recommend that they be scheduled separately.
