Surgery VS pregnancy. Should I wait for thigh lift?

Question

I am a 28 years old women who lost more than 80 pounds now. I was planning to have a thigh lift and a tummy tuck/breast lift. However since i do not have children yet, and I planned to have some in the next 2-3 years, I post poned the tummy tuck/BA after the babies. What about the thigh lift? Should I also wait after babies? Or it is safe to do it now?

Most surgeons would suggest you wait until after pregnancy. What if you do the surgery and gain more than you expected?  If your life is seriously compromised by the loose skin and fat on your legs now it might still make sense to consider it. Just make plans to gain appropriate weight during pregnancy by eating healthfully and exercising throughout pregnancy according to your doctors professional advice.

My thoughts are to wait until you have children as otherwise your weight gain may result in addtional stretched skin.

Hi,I would recommend waiting until after you have had your children. Having lost 80 lbs, you already know what weight gain/loss can do to skin. Imagine doing the thigh lift now, getting a great result, only to be undone by the normal weight gain of pregnancy! Yes, a thigh lift can be re-done, but why put yourself through two surgeries if you know you want to have kids relatively soon? Best of luck.
