I had Smart Lipo in April 2014. Had a hard area around belly button. Dr wanted me to wait full 6 months before revision. Area is not soft and has two small pockets of fat on either side of my belly button that hide the abs I've worked hard to define. Dr suggested I do love handles to pull in my waist and she will use a syringe to remove the small pockets around the mid belly. How does that work?

Hi - I have never heard this as a reason not to perform liposuction before. Residual scar tissue is very minimal. As long as you are a suitable candidate for liposuction (ie. don't need any more extensive surgery like abdominoplasty) then there shouldn't be a problem. Be sure...
