Hello I have some loose skin on my lower back and I am considering Morpheus 8 vs BodyTite. Can Morpheus body provide enough of a good result for lower back skin tightening? Thanks
Answer: Morpheus 8 and Bodytite This is a great question! If you truly have just skin laxity, Morpheus 8 can be a great treatment. Morpheus 8 uses radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production which can help tighten loose skin. You would probably need to start with a series of three treatments. Patient downtime with Morpheus is minimal. If you have skin laxity and underlying adipose deposits, Bodytite might be a better option. Bodytite can reduce adipose tissue and improve skin laxity due to weight loss or aging. Patient downtime is a little bit longer with Bodytite and you may have to wear a compression garment following your treatment. The provider you choose should be able to tell you what treatment is best for you and your body. Good luck!

Answer: Morpheus versus bodytite Morpheus and bodytite are both actually the same thing. One just has a bigger applicator and achieves a slightly greater depth but both can be used for loose skin anywhere

Answer: Morpheus8 is great fro tightening lose skin Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
