Neck skin redundancy often accompanies platysmas bands. Depending on the skin elasticity and laxity, the skin problem will remain despite an effort to treat the muscle bands with a platysmaplasty. It would be helpful to evaluate pre-operative photos to assess the situation prior to the platysmaplasty and determine the pre-op status of the skin. Although FaceTite or a series of Morpheus8 treatments may improve the situation, a surgical approach with skin redraping will generally give a more predictable outcome.

Depending on the laxity of the skin you may have improvement with FaceTite combined with Morpheus8 treatments. However, if the skin is thin with poor elasticity, excision of the excess skin will be necessary in order to improve the contours.
