i have telangiectasis under my eyes and on the sides of the nose. i dont want to use other lasers, just microneedling bc i dont want to risk pih. any providers out there?,

Thank you for your great question. Telangiectasias
are small dilated blood vessels near the surface of the skin, are best removed
by using a vascular laser causing the vessel to collapse. Another procedure
used is Sclerotherapy.

Cutera Laser therapy is the most
effective treatment due to the accuracy of the beam of light positioned to
destroy the targeted capillaries. The hemoglobin in the veins will absorb the
beam of light, thus destroying the capillaries. After the vein walls have
collapsed, the body will reabsorb the destroyed capillaries within three to
four weeks, and the capillaries will no longer be visible. Microneedling will
make blood vessels worse. Best,

I actually have posted pictures on RealSelf of facial telangiectasias treated with this technology, which utilizes Radiofrequency energy rather than laser. In my opinion, it has provided, by far, superior results to laser, and can be used on any skin tone (Fitzpatrick classifications I- VI).
