Rhinoplasty and sketch artist to show specific details? (photos)

Frankly speaking, if you find yourself going to such measures, you might be missing the point of rhinoplasty.  The operation is designed to improve the nose and twerk the features of the nose in a manner that will be pleasing, but neither you nor your surgeon (nor your sketch artist) will have the level of control and precision over the results that you seem to be expecting.

photograph, I see the asymmetry that you are referring to.  This can be fixed.  I always warn against relying too much on imaging, as this can often be very misleading.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after
pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon
and not just a computer animation system.

Dear TomMP2,Although 3-D imaging applications for plastic surgery have become more advanced and helpful in surgical planning, they are not without limitation.  In addition, the human body and tissues are living, biologically active, reactive and continually changing.  They are not inanimate structures that can be altered in a completely predictable fashion, like a mechanical device.  So, even if you were to effectively demonstrate your goals with a 3-D imaging or a sketch artist, the results would not be guaranteed.  There is only so much that we, as plastic surgeons, can do.  Something is always left to the devices of your genetics, your tissues and the healing process.  Good luck!
