Scheduled for surgery on the15th of this month and I believe I may have fractured my knee accidentally while working out. Haven't seen a doctor yet but I wanted to know if something is fractured can I still continue my rhinoplasty?

Answer: Fractured Knee and Rhinoplasty Hello! Thanks for your question. As long as the knee isn't infected and doesn't show signs of an open fracture (bone sticking out), it usually is fine to proceed. Getting an Orthopedic Surgeon to evaluate prior may be a good choice if possible. Make sure to speak with your rhinoplasty surgeon as well to see if he or she has any objection. Hope this helps!

Answer: Rhinoplasty with a fractured knee One really has nothing to do with the other. However, since rhinoplasty is a cosmetic proceudre you may want to see an orthopedic surgeon for your knee before anything else.
