So I got bags from allergies around may. Didnt know it was allergies. So I did, 1/2 syringe for restylane for both eyes. The result left my eyes puffy and more darker. Two weeks later I received a small amount of hyaluronidase and last week I received a second dose. Now my under eye still looks puffy and dark and I dont know how to fix it. Should look into getting lazer resurfacing? I dont know what to do and my bags look worst.

Answer: Restylane and Under Eye Fillers It is still possible that there is filler under the eyes that needs to be dissolved. The darkness can be there because the filler is still present. I would consult an expert in under eye fillers to examine your eyes. I would also consider taking Zyretc for your allergies and see if the swelling resolves as well. Best, Dr. Green

Answer: Restylane under the eyes Thank you for your question. Half of a syringe of Restylane is very minimal for both eyes. It is possible that you could have benefited from a thinner filler such as Restylane Refyne, Volbella, or Vollure and the Restylane was too thick. Or it may be that the filler was placed incorrectly. The darkness you are noticing now is most likely from the filler and not allergies. It could be something known as the Tyndall effect. The good news is hyaluronidase will be able to dissolve the filler and also waiting for it to dissolve will improve the appearance. Best of luck!
