The key to ensuring a successful injection the second time around is to be sure all swelling has gone down after dissolving the filler. If it is a small area, three days may be enough time. However, if swelling is still present, it might be prudent to wait a bit longer to ensure the result of your subsequent injection treatment is as good as possible. Make sure the doctor you are working with is board certified with expertise in injectable techniques.
Thank you for your question! It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can be asymmetrical, and last 1-2 weeks after lip injections. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. After dissolving your filler, I would recommend that you wait at least 2 weeks prior to re injecting the same area again.
Hi,If you had a tiny amount of the dissolving agent in one localized spot, you should be fine for a refill. Ultimately your provider will determine if they feel it's ok. Best,
You can do filler after having it dissolved. Ideally, you would want to wait 7-10 days to let all swelling subside. If it's only a small area it should be ready after 3 or 5 days.
Hello there, Three days should be ample amount of time if only a small area was reversed. The reversal agents typically only persist for up to 48 hours and the swelling involved should be resolved at 3 days out. Good luck!-Sarah RN BSN
I prefer that my patients wait 2 weeks before proceeding with filler retreatment after hyaluronidase injection.
I would say that 3 days is ample time for the effects of hyaluronidase to be complete. The lips can be reinjected at this time without any concerns.
The half life of hyaluronidase, which is the enzyme used to dissolve filler, is around 3-5 days, and it takes about 2-4 weeks before the hyaluronidase is completely out of your system. I typically have patients wait at least 2 weeks after dissolving to inject them with filler again. I hope this helps!
Thank you for your question. It appears from your photos you might have a twofold problem - loss of facial volume and early aging to the skin. Dermal fillers can restore volume, as long as they are administered by a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in nonsurgical facial contouring....
If injected properly fillers should not migrate. Longevity of the filler will vary by product, but regardless it should not cause sagging or increase in the jowls. See an expert injector near you to learn more.
Thank you for your question. I would recommend you to start off with a hyaluronic acid based filler. I would advise you to schedule a consultation with a board certified expert injector for a detailed examination to discuss all possible treatment options and what your expectations are.
