Will my pre-jowl depressions (dents?) from submental chin implant get better over time or should I have it removed? (photos)

It is hard to notice significant implant related "deformity" on your photos. Most likely that in-person examination will show more. It is very easy to camouflage deformity with soft tissue filler and fat grafts if that is your only concern. Start with filler to see how do you like it. Good luck.

You may want to remove it and have sliding genioplasty performed. It's relatively a simple and more permanent procedure.

Thanks for your question.  I see the pre-jowl depression you are referring to, and the pre-jowl sulcus that you have appears to be the result of a central chin implant.  These implants are smaller in the horizontal direction and do not augment the pre-jowl groove.  Extended implants have "wings" that give some augmentation in these areas.  Options at this point include using fillers in the pre-jowl, or replacement of the implant.  I would consider both of these options to be good ones, though I lean towards a new implant, as it is permanent (once the right shape and size are used).  Good luck!

we need to know the style of the implant, whether it was long or short. I think you should leave it alone for a year. Might be that the hollows are really hollow and need some filler.
