I had my procedure a week ago and I have lots of pain to the touch. My laterals,lower stomach and lower back are the most sensitive. Is this normal? They hurt pretty bad and I'm a hypochondriac by nature so I'm worried

Yes, continue to massage the areas. The swelling may take six months to resolve. You can wear the garment for as long as you are comfortable doing so. Continue to follow your surgeons instructions and contact him him or her with any concerns. Best wishes.
Hi! I have my immediate post op patients wear compression for 72 hours before taking it off. After that 24/7 for 3 weeks, taking off to shower and wash the garment. If you have additional questions I would check with your surgeon. Best of luck to you!
