How long after having Smart lipo can one have it again?

Lipo in the same area can be repeated in 6-12 months. In a different area, there is no time restriction. You need to ask why you want to do this. Sometimes lipo is not the best treatment and other procedures may give a better result alone or in combination.

If you are doing a different body area you can  have the procedure immediately. To have a second procedure performed on the same area you should wait at least six months. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

If smart lipo is being done in an area that you have never had smart lipo done, you can have that procedure performed almost immediately.  If you are wanting smart lipo into an area where you have already had lipo then I would wait a minimum of 9 months before proceeding with a repeat procedure.

You could safely do a 2nd round of Smartlipo within a few days of each other on different parts of your anatomy. I would not re-treat the same area for a minimum of 3 months though (I'd prefer to wait 6 months because we continue to see changes and improvements as time goes on). Best wishes.

you will keep improving for 6 months after Smartlipo so i would not rush to do it again before 6 months. if you are treating a different area with Smartlipo, you can do it the next day.david berman md
