It has been 12 weeks since I had smart lipo to my abdomen and there is still one big lump to my lower abdomen. Do I continue to massage it or has it improved all that it is going to? Also, do I keep wearing the compression garment because I have been wearing it all of the time except massage and shower. Thank you for your time.

Answer: Part of the healing process Hi! Lumps and bumps as we call it are part of the post op healing process for lipo. They will usually go away after a period of time (3-6 months post lipo). It sounds like you are doing your part with massages and wearing the compression garment. All doctors have a different algorithm for how long they have their patients in a compression garment, for that, I would follow up with your body contouring specialist! I would give it more time but also would recommend following up with your doc.
