I had fat transfer done 2 weeks ago to my hips only and for couple of days now when I get up from a sitting position to walk I get this shocking feeling in my right thigh where I had the fat transfer. What could be the cause of this and is it normal?

Swelling after fat transfer can last 3-6 months but often is just a few weeks. Antihistamines, diuretics and oral steroids can help swelling. I recommend following up with your Dr. about after care. I also recommend prp and sculptra injections to maintain results. Best, Dr. Emer

At this stage (4 wks) post op patience is your best friend. My recommedations:
1. See your surgeon. We all have small tricks to help with post op edema
