So, after the age of 20, it is estimated that we lose about 1ml of volume in the face each year; unless you have already had filler in the past, I suspect that you do have volume depletion. If you are looking for the best results, you will address all of these problems. Morpheus is great for treating wrinkled skin; if you have substantial skin laxity, you may want to add FaceTite and/or AccuTite to your face/neck at the same time. Volume can be added with off-the-shelf fillers (think hyaluronic acid) or fat. Botulinum toxin can be used to address your wrinkles from muscle activation (forehead, crow's feet, etc), but it can also be used to treat the muscles that depress parts of the face.
Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Yes. Morpheus8 is a great treatment for tightening and reducing fine lines on the face. Depending on the amount of laxity, a series of 3 treatments about 4-6 weeks apart may be recommended. Cheers from Dallas!
Morpheus8 provides both skin tightening and skin resurfacing improvements. The technology uses radiofrequency deep subdermal heating to effectively tighten skin and remodel the superficial texture, such as scarring and enlarged pores. Combining Morpheus8 with lasers can give both complexion and laxity improvements in one treatment, so it's an ideal add-on treatment for those who care about preventative sagging or scarring improvements. You can also add this on to liposuction or internal heating to get more improvement in the areas treated. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to develop a treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer
Morpheus8 treatments will help improve skin tone and texture. It will address fine lines and help to tighten skin. Some patients see better results if FaceTite and Morpheus8 treatments are combined. See your board certified plastic surgeon to determine what is best for you.
Hi DebraP7779!Morpheus is a great for treating wrinkled skin. I believe it will tighten the skin and help improve fine lines around the eyes, mouth and forehead. If you have severe skin laxity you might want to look into Facetite for the neck & Accutite for the eyes and mouth. As for Volume loss, Morpheus8 won't give you any drastic changes considering it promotes natural production of collagen that continues to slowly work over time. You may want to look into PRP Fillers that increase volume loss and are a more natural alternative.
Thank you for your questions. Without photos I cannot recommend any specific treatments. In general, Morpheus 8 can be used after a facelift/necklift periodically to maximize your results. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified Plastic Surgeon who can assess your specific...
Morpheus8 is a great option for those that are interested in skin tightening and collagen stimulation, however it will not aid in replenishing volume. The radiofrequency applied through the microneedles assist in fat loss, so it may not be the best option for you. Instead, you may want to...
HI there. It is difficult to accurately answer your question without seeing a picture or knowing why you are desiring those procedures. Morpheus 8 is an excellent radiofrequency microneedling procedure that allows for controlled depth penetration of radiofrequency energy to decrease...
