What is recovery and downtime like for Morpheus 8?

The downtime with Morpheus8 is 3 days. If you have the treatment on Friday, you should be fine by Monday. Make sure you apply a good moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen before heading out on Monday.

In my experience, most patients usually recover in 2-3 days. If you do this treatment on a Friday it will give you the weekend to recover and use post treatment care (each practice may have differing post treatment protocols). By Monday the redness and swelling should be significantly decreased from the treatment time on Friday and you will be able to apply makeup to cover up anything that may still be lingering. I always recommend using mineral based makeup as it is gentler on the skin. Good luck!

Most patients report a two day period of redness and mild swelling. The amount of oozing and bleeding after this procedure is less than with traditional microneedling due to the heat which is applied through the radiofrequency.I recommend not applying makeup for a period of 3 to 4 days after the procedure given the concern that the makeup may enter the small openings caused by the needles. By that time these holes should have healed.

One of the great things about Morpheus8 is that in most people, the recovery is very minimal. You most likely can go to work on Monday and from what I've seen with my patients, you may not even need make up. If you would like to speed up the recovery time even more, Morpheus with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is another option. Best of luck!
