In your case since you had the botox treatment 2 months ago you should not be worries. Botox is not recommended during pregnancy as there hasn't been any studies carried out on pregnant woman. As stated previous botox doesnt go systemic and it works inside the muscle
Botox has not been studied in women who are pregnant, however, many of my patients have had treatment without knowledge of their pregnancy and had no issues. The medication is not absorbed into the body at cosmetic doses and is only effective locally. Best, Dr. Emer
I would not be concerned that you had Botox two months ago and are now 2 weeks pregnant. There should not be any effect to your unborn child.
Hi, and thank you for your query. As there are no large scale studies into the effects of Botox during pregnancy, we cannot say for absolute sure. However, there is an acceptance within the plastic surgery community that there is little to no chance that the Botox will travel far enough to have any effect whatsoever on the foetus, because it is injected locally into the muscle, not into the bloodstream. Of course, it is not advisable to undergo cosmetic treatments whilst pregnant, and I would suggest that you speak with your obstetrician who will be able to answer any further queries you may have, but I wouldn't worry. Congratulations on your pregnancy, and all the best for the future!
Although there have never been any real clinical studies regarding pregnancy and Botox there are many instances of pregnancy and Botox without any problems. also the Botox given 2 months ago is actually out of your system. It is depositied and works only locally and does not disseminate throughout the body. There will be no effect on you or the baby
Thank you for sharing your question. The Botox you had 2months ago is most likely out of your system by now. Additionally, there has beenno clinical evidence that having Botox can harm a fetus. With that said, Botoxis not recommended during pregnancy. You should also feel free to discuss thesequestions with your OBGYN and your injector. For now, you can rest easy thatyour prior Botox injections have not harmed your baby in anyway. Best, Dr.Griffiths.
Thank you for your question. Fourteen days is a generous estimate for how long it takes to see the final results after getting BOTOX®, as not everyone does see their results so quickly. However, it is not uncommon to see your full results within 1 week or less. As you had a relatively small ...
Hello, and thanks for your question. Keep in mind that you may not see your final results from BOTOX® injections until about two weeks after your treatment, so I wouldn’t schedule a touch-up session before the two-week mark. If, at this point, you’re still not seeing the results you want, it w...
Thank you for your question. You’re concerned about your brows being uneven after Botox®, and state the lower brow is the side of a prosthetic eye. You submitted photos with your face at rest, and with elevation of your brow. It becomes more clear with one photo that the right brow goes up, an...
