If you tend to lose weight in your breasts, it can affect lift results before or after.I would recommend weight loss prior to lift. An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to discuss your options and expectations.

It would be a good idea. When you lose weight, it
not only reduces the size of your waist and thighs, but it might also reduce
the size of your breasts, because breasts are made up mostly of fatty tissue. If
this happens, you might be left with saggy breasts and stretched skin. If you
are planning to lose 10 percent or more of your body weight (25 pounds or more in your case), it makes sense to
wait until you have reached your goal before you have breast lift surgery. In order to be proportional,

At 5’7 and 250 pounds, your BMI is 39.2. Technically you are classified as being obese. Offhand, you need to lose about 90 pounds. We don’t know your current cup size. Your BMI is about 40 which is rather high. You should lose some weight for your own health. You would need to be seen to know if weight loss will affect your breast lift surgery.

Small fluctuations in weight will not effect your results. My recommendation to all of my cosmetic patients is to be at their comfort weight when they get any surgery. Comfort weight means that you do not have to put any effort in keeping this weight. This way you assure that your changes don't get ruined. Please see examples of breast lift patients below.
