Hi everyone, I have 1 week that I did a tummy tuck and I know is too soon and that I'm still swollen. But when I sit down I still have loose skin. I really dont want to get disappointed. I worked so hard to do this and Im not happy with what I'm seen. Is this possible having loose skin when I sit down? How long after a tummy tuck you have to wait to do a reversion? And you I have to pay for a reversion by the same doctor? Please help and thank you everyone.

Answer: Tummy Tuck It is my pleasure to answer your question. There is loose skin when patients sit. I recommend you to wait at least 3 months post op for partial results. Final results could be reached at 8 to 12 months.

Answer: Loose skin after tummy tuck Thank you for your question. First of all, you are only 1 week post op. You need to have patience. Your body is doing a lot of healing right now. You still have a lot swelling going on. I think for 1 week, your results are right on track! It is normal for everyone to have a little extra skin when they sit down. If you didn't have that extra skin, then you you wouldn't be able to stand straight up. The alternitive to this would be your Dr removing to much skin and you having too much tension on your incision and then you would be having complications like delayed healing or tissue necrosis(dead skin). I would not advise any revision for at least 6-9 months.
