Diastasis Recti Abdominis: Closing a 2 "finger" gap lead to noticeable results?

Asked By:MarylandUser in Maryland, NY

I have approximately 2 fingers width separation in my rectus abdominis muscles as felt when running my fingers between the muscles in the "crunch" position. I am wondering if having this gap closed surgically will lead to a narrower waistline, per se?
