I am having a rhinoplasty and my teachers have not allowed extensions for my assignments. I will get as much done beforehand, but will I still be able to write essays and complete assignments directly after surgery? I plan to use acetaminophen to manage pain.

But to be safe, it can be recommended to make your arrangements in a manner that they would not be required to be done within the first 1-2 days after the surgery.

Answer: Rhinoplasty timing Nice of your teachers to cut you a break. You really should be able to get back yo doing assignments in as few as three or four days. You will likely still have a bandage on and swelling in your eyes, but you’ll be able to get some work done.

Keep in mind, the skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. Swelling will gradually resolve over several weeks and it can take up to a year for final results. Hope this helps.
