I saw an orthodontist who recommended braces and then jaw surgery. My lower jaw is too small and sits further back giving me an overbite and bad bite. I wanted to know if there’s any way to avoid having the surgery, will my smile/jaw look any less crooked after the invisalign? (just enough where I won’t feel as if I need it?)Would rubber bands paired with the invisalign help to pull my lower jaw forward, or is there anything else that might be able to other than jaw surgery?

Answer: DNA Appliance and Epigenetic Orthodontics/Orthopedics Ideal in Your Case
HelloInvisalign just like braces only correct teeth position not skeletal anatomy (chin). A plastic surgeon can help you with what you are seeking.Best of luck~!
Invisalign can change the angle but you must have your Invisalign dentist dictate that angle you wish to have on their software, ClinCheck, when they design and order your aligners.
The problem is that your gingival papilla between 9 and 10 is blunted, does not fill in the space. I definitely would not recommend more IPR. Bonding would be an option, but I would first consult with a periodontist and see if the papilla can be reconstructed to fill in the gap.
