How long after periodontal scaling and root planning should I wait to put my invisalign aligners back in?

The swelling is just about gone but I'm afraid that putting them back in the same day may affect the work done during the root planning.

It is OK to place your Invisalign right back in after scaling and root planing. But if your gum is sore then it’s recommended that you wait til the next day after your deep cleaning. I would not wait any longer than 24 hours.

Scaling and root planning sholud not be a procedure that would require skipping any days off wearing your Invisalign aligners.

You should put you aligners back in after any residual bleeding stops.  Remember you need to wear them 22 hours a day for full effectiveness.
