I have a slight gap in the center of my hairline, what would be best to correct this, FUE or FUT? (photo)

 In my opinion I would do a one time fue session on this because it’s extremely small, and you should be finished forever since you have no issues with male pattern baldness. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 grab should take care of that area specially since you have great hair characteristics.

If you are considering a cosmetic surgery it would be in your interest to see a doctor for an examination to make sure you would be a good candidate.  Hair transplant surgery should work to even out the hair line.

  Thank you for the question.  Both FUT and FUE should create a similar result in the frontal hairline.  The only difference should be in the back of the scalp where the grafts are borrowed.  Because you wear your hair short need a limited number of hair grafts I would recommend FUE to avoid the linear scarring from FUT.

Hair transplant can be an option for forehead reduction and correcting  asymmetry on your frontal hair line/forelock.I advice you have a FUE; you would get the desired hairline in just one sesssion of dense packing hair transplant. 

As far as filling in the area and graft take, if done properly the results from FUE and FUT should be similar.  Both techniques are good ones in skilled hands- the decision is best made after an evaluation and discussion with your surgeon. 

Looks as though you will need a modest correction to the hairline.  FUE is certainly easier to recover from than FUT.  I have many patients that have had FUT and then a subsequent FUE procedure.  They always say how much easier the recovery process was with FUE.
Curly hair can sometimes be difficult to extract via FUE.  The hair can change direction below the skin and make it difficult to get the hair out intact.  In my curly hair patients I explain there is a small chance that I won't be able to get the hair out via FUE, and if that happens would they be willing to convert to FUT.  Some patients say yes, others say they would rather cancel the procedure.
I think that would be unlikely in your case, but its good to know going in.
