I now have a large bulge between my two eyes 12 hours later. Is this just swelling or too much substance used? It is not appearing to blend well into my forehead as you can see in the picture. Will this swelling go down so it looks attractive? What would you suggest? Thank you.
Answer: I had restylane for a non surgical nose job to disguise the bump on the bridge of my nose. Is this swelling Thank you for your question. Your still swollen after your filler injection and the swelling could last for another 1-2 weeks. You never mentioned how much filler was injected but the area will swell. The nasal dorsal injections are very satisfying for patients. Don't worry, if you have any irregularities 2 weeks after filler injections it can easily be reversed. All of my patients apply an cold gel pack for several hours after their injection to help with the swelling. Discuss your concerns with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Best wishes

Answer: Yes it maybe swelling 12 hours after filler is very early to judge if there is any problems with over filling or under correction. You needs to put ice over the area and give at least 10 days to two weeks to judge the area.

Answer: Nonsurgical #nosejob Dear Adjze:Within hours after injection of a dermal filler to this area, one can see swelling due to the water that is attracted by the hyaluronic acid filler. If it did not look this way while you were still in the doctor's office, this should not be overcorrection and should resolve within a week, possibly two. If it looked like this as you finished the treatment your doctor might consider a bit of Vitrase to bring it down immediately.Rarely, a deep hematoma can form that can cause this kind of swelling, which would usually resolve on its own.My personal preference is to take in account post treatment swelling so that patients don't have to go through downtime and can continue their professional and social lives. I save a little of the product in a syringe marked with that patient's name and if it needs a little more volume a week later it can be topped up without the patient having to hide at home. If this is interfering with your plans, you can have a bit of Vitrase injected, and in the worst case scenario you might need another treatment a bit sooner than if you waited for the swelling to resolve on its own. On the upsid, you will be able to continue life as usual!

Answer: Fillers in lips At 12 hours after filler, it is likely to be swelling. If it feels lumpy, then light massage may help. Always best to ask your injector.

Answer: Non surgical nose job gone wrong This is obviously too much in the wrong place. If it is there for over a week, that is what it will be like for the next several months. If you don't like it, remove with hyaluronidase.
