Is Restylane or Juvederm safe if I have metal facial implants?

I was in a bad accident that left me with severe facial damage. The left side of my face was reconstructed using metal implants. I want to get filler injected into my tear troughs . I am wondering if this is safe or if there are any know complications or bad reactions in these circumstances.

Thank you for your question. I never inject a filler near acne lesions. There is an infection risk and that is best avoided. I hope this helps!

Thank you for your question. I would certainlyl try Restylane before having surgery, knowing that it may not be all you need. See a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, and a ear, nose, throat facial plastic surgeon before any surgery decisions. I hope this helps!

I suggest getting more filler placed appropriately.  Cannula injections prevent bruising swelling and pain.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I suggest reversing the restylane and then reinjecting with Radiesse or Bellafill to get a more permanent long term result with less swelling. Cannula injections help give a more meticulous result. Best, Dr. Emer.
