Had bad results with Restylane filler. Is PRP (platelet rich plasma) a better option for me?

I have a slight hollowing under my eyes,mainly my tear trough and have fine lines.I am more concerned about the fine lines.I tired filler with bad results I'm just not well suited to it?I had bags under my eyes.My injector suggested instead of any fillers to have PRP to improve the condition under my eyes.I also tired botox I but I looked a bit creepy.Is PRP something that I would benefit from. Will it actually improve the condition is it mainly just marketing. I have quite thin fine skin

I think its the person injecting that gives you the results you are looking for.  Many of my patients do fillers in this are and PRP a few times a year to maintain the results.  PRP is not a filler but rather a stimulator. Cannula injections limit complications and give a more meticulous result. I suggest only going to an expert for this type of treatment. PRP is rich with nutrients and growth-factors
that can promote healing, stimulate collagen, and increase the longevity of
filler.  While treatment with PRP could
provide some improvement to your under-eye area, the results will not match the
volumizing effect of Restylane. Filling in the tear trough with a hyaluronic
acid filler is virtually the only way to reduce under-eye hollows; any other
treatments such as PRP will only improve the superficial appearance of the
skin.

It is possible your disappointment with your
filler treatment may just be due to the technique used. When injected with
proper placement and depth, Restylane can provide a smooth, natural-looking
result, minimizing hollowness and shadowing in the under-eye area. If you
decide to give Restylane another try, look for an expect injector who utilizes
cannulas in their filler treatments.

However, if you are set on moving past
fillers, you may want to think about a radiofrequency based tightening
treatment such as Thermage, or even laser resurfacing such as Fraxel. A board
certified Dermatologist can help determine which you may be a candidate for,
but keep in mind that both these treatments only have the potential to help
your fine lines, and not your hollows. Best of luck!

It would be nice to see some photographs but your best option would be an I person evaluation by a board certified surgeon with expertise on treating the periocular area.
