There is evidence of the benefit of ThermiTight reducing cellulite. ThermiTight had been started, off label, on cellulite of the legs about three years ago and some patients have retained their good results this long. The radiofrequency delivered by a cannula to the tissues below the skin has been shown to tighten the skin, in many patients, although certainly not as much as a facelift, thigh lift, or tummy tuck.Not all patients obtain the same good results and this may be due to genetic, dietary and other factors that are not known at this time, so no patient can be guaranteed a great result. Some areas of cellulite might improve more than others in the same patient.
