Can I get good results with lipo 360 and J-Plasma? (Photo)

In your side view, you can see your abdominal wall protrudes anteriorly. Your previous tummy tuck did not add enough mechanical strength to the abdominal wall. At this time, I recommend revising the abdominoplasty using mesh reinforcement, if you are not planning future pregnancies. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight.

if you have loose skin a revision tuck and/or renuvion are needed with lipo. would need to consult to see but yes you would do great.

my whole practice is doing lipoabdominoplasty, or at least liposuction with internal heating (which is not the gold standard for skin tightening with body contouring).

the smaller you are before liposuction the more contouring you can get from the procedure. most of my liposuction patients get pre and post surgical optimization with hormonal therapy (see link to help boost their weight loss before surgery and help them heal after).

Sometimes the full scar needs to be revised and this just entails surgically removing and restitching the scar.  Sometimes the scar plus skin . needs to be removed and that is a revision tummy tuck.  I suggest posting photos and seeing an expert in revision procedures that combine liposuction/fat removal, skin tightening, body shaping/definition, fat grafting and cellulite improvement.   Best, Dr. Emer.

You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best.  Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring.  Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods.  The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring.  This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face.  Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra.  If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty).  Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting.  Dr. Emer.

It appears from your photos that you are a good candidate for just liposuction as it does not appear that you have a lot of redundant skin.
I have treated numerous patients who have had very disappointing results from J plasma with no skin tightening plus the added expense. Another option may be liposuction with mini tummy tuck, just excising loose skin from your lower abdomen below your belly button utilizing the previous tummy tuck scar. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in our area to explore the best options for you. Good luck.

Based on your pictures your best option is to redo the tummy tuck.

Your muscle wall is bulging so either you didn’t have proper muscle tightening or muscle tightening needs to be redone.

I purchased the J plasma device for around $120,000 one and a half years ago.

Are used it for six months and saw zero skin improvements. In my opinion this device is a complete sham and should be used for what it was built for which is to treat endometriosis.

It potentially can serve a role for facial ablative skin resurfacing but it does not perform well tightening skin in conjunction with liposuction. patient had significantly increased pain during and after the procedure with the use of J plasma by Renuvion.

I have since sold a device at a substantial loss but feel I am serving my patients far better by not recommending it.

Since you already have the tummy tuck scar simply re-doing that procedure correctly makes by far the most sense to me.
