Fillers for the nose: would you suggest Restylane or Juvederm for a more pronounced nasal profile?

Our practice, we specialize in the use of microdroplet Silikon-1000 for permanent nasal bridge raising. It needs to be performed cautiously, and most people require three treatments or more for a desired and permanent result. Treatment intervals are spaced at monthly intervals or longer. Yes, fillers can work well for certain deformities of the nose (ie low dorsum). They are temporary and can be expensive if done every year to maintain your result. Sometimes a rhinoplasty is better and more affordable long term. The nose can become wider if too much filler is injected giving it a bulbous appearance. 

Minor defects of the bridge (dorsum), central nose and tip of the nose can be very precisely and quickly corrected with fillers.  Improved definition of the tip, and straightening of the dorsum may be achieved. This may also result in straighter, thinner appearing nose. Reduction of a prominent dorsum or tip requires surgery.
Various fillers are available Radiesse, Bellafill, autologous fat, Voluma and Lyft are options.  Depending on your expectations for longevity and budget (pricing between $500 and $1900) a product can be chosen to best fit your needs. Lyft, Restylane, Radiesse or Voluma will give more definition and noticeable results than Juvederm.
There are no fillers that have been tested in this area by the FDA and therefor are considered "off label use".
