My eyelid became uneven (higher on one eye) after I got a stye. Is this normal and will this go away? (Photo)

Thanks for sending a photos with your questions. There is notable asymmetry between your two eyelids and it would be necessary to take a detailed history and assessment of your eyes before determining both a diagnosis and treatment plan.  Styes, also termed chalazion in adults, are very common and it would be unusual for these to cause long-term changes in shaped and asymmetry of the eyelids. Occasionally a stye can persist as a longer term chalazion, which can effect the shape and symmetry of the eyelids. More common is pre-existing asymmetry that is common in many people, however after an event such as a stye, this brings the asymmetry to your attention and you can notice this more and more. My suggestion is that you do research and schedule a consultation with an oculo-facial plastic surgeon experienced in both blepharoplasty, brow lift and ptosis surgery.

You might be developing mild elevator detachment / attenuation (a form of early ptosis of the eyelids), but your photos are not clear enough to know.  Without an exam, it will not be possible to fully evaluate you and give you recommendations.

Depending on how long it has been since your stye, this may be normal and could resolve on its own. Eyelid anatomy is complex and there are two different muscles that control the position of the eyelid and the configuration of the folds. Consider seeing an eyelid specialist (oculoplastic surgeon) in your area for an in-person evaluation.
