How effective is Mons pubic liposuction?

Hello, I’m a 25 year old man, whose a little overweight, about 10 kg. I have a rather thick pubic area that covers about 3 cm of my genitalia. I would like to reveal the buried penis, but was wondering if done right, how much can be removed? My goal would be to remove all 3 cm. Thank yo.

Thank you for your question.For patients with excess fat of the suprapubic region, liposuction is often a nice option and can provide for great results.  For patients who also have excess skin, oftentimes a suprapubic lift is advised to address the loose or excess skin as well as the subcutaneous fat.For the best recommendation, I would encourage you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.  In my experience in performing both liposuction and suprapubic lifts, I have found that these procedures are quite successful and require very minimal downtime and recovery.  I hope that you find this helpful and I wish you all of the best.

Liposuction can be used in this area. You need to lose weight first before undergoing any cosmetic procedure to get the best outcome. For best results, it is recommended to be at your ideal or stable weight before getting a sculpting liposuction procedure. Liposuction is good for sculpting, defining and removing problem areas that cannot be removed with weight loss and diet / exercise alone. With skin laxity, a tummy tuck or lifting procedure could be performed at the same time. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a bariatric doctor or dietitian. Best, Dr. Emer

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  The combination of liposuction with a mons lift can be effective in the appropriate patient.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Liposuction alone is good if you just have excess fat in the area.  If you have lost weight, have a C-section scar, or have excess skin for some other reason you may also need excess skin removed.

salem12.   Photos would help but generally speaking, liposuction can be a very effective to treat this region.  Recovery requires just one or two days from work, and all swelling subsides in 4-6 months. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!

Hi- Liposuction is a good option for this area but not if its because of excessive fatty tissue. The best results are when your are at your ideal body weight in order to provide the best contour. I always recommend diet/exercise prior to undergoing any invasive procedures. Good Luck!

You would have to be seen in person. Sometimes the covering is due to soft tissue laxity and sometimes excision of skin and tissue might be reasonable.
