Had arm lipo about 2 years ago, has massages after but I've developed bad fibrosis. What can I do?
Answer: Improving fibrosis after liposuction with Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis, Cellutone, ZWave, VASER I recommend non invasive treatments like Vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. However, a liposuction revision may be needed to get the best results. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Skin Irregularities after Liposuction westsidegirl. So sorry you are having this problem. It appears that fat grafting is the best option for the skin irregularities shown in the photo. Fat is usually harvested from the abdomen and transferred to the arms. It can be done in the office under local anesthesia. A secondary touch up procedure may be necessary. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!

Answer: Contour deformity Hi- These are very very difficult problems to address and they unfortunately can happen with weight fluctuations so the best intial treatment is weight loss if you've gained any weight since the operation. If that's not the case redistribution and redraping with liposcultpure and fat grafting may help but is not entirely predictable and frequently may need additional touch ups/revisions. Hope this was helpful, and good luck!

Answer: Poor results from arm liposuction Based on your picture it appears you have a bad outcome from poorly done liposuction. I don't believe this is from fibrosis but simply poorly done liposuction or the fat was removed in an irregular fashion. These Contor irregularities are very difficult to fix. This is especially true in cases where patients are over treated. If there still fat underneath your skin than a revision liposuction procedure could help. Patients with been overtreated tend to not do well with fat transfer. Sometimes a combination of revision liposuction and fat transfer done as two separate procedures can help. I have a less faith in nonsurgical options than others. I suggest having several in person consultations with board-certified plastic surgeon's weather extensive experience with liposuction. Revision liposuction requires meticulous work with great attention to detail. Best, Mats Hagstrom M.D.
