What are the chin proportions for men?

There are proportions for men and women in regards to the ideal chin.  In general, the best chin implant to use is determined by examining the patient and using sizer implants to come to a decision.  If you feel your chin implant is too long and not wide enough, I would discuss this with your surgeon.  It is possible that another implant may work better for you.  

  Hi, photos non-smiling of the chin from the front and side would help with the evaluation.  As outlined in my published book on face and body beauty, the anterior (front) projection of the chin in men should meet an imaginary vertical line drawn down from the lower lip.  The chin should then taper as it goes to each side.  Men's faces look ruggedly handsome when angularity is present in the facial features, so it might be a combination of things that need to be done to achieve that goal.
