Bump above eyebrow after Botox?

Thank you for your question.From the description, you probably had a small amount of bleeding under the skin from the injection and that is what is causing the lump you are feeling. This is fairly common after injections, it should go away on its own within a week or so. If it persists I would contact your injector.

It can be localized inflammation to that muscle area. At the two day mark it is too early to tell what the botox did, I would just ice it for the time being. if your noticing a drop in your eyebrow I would contact your injector to get is evaluated.

Thank you for the question.   I think that this bump may be a bruise, which can happen, after the injection.  Give it time, and do not apply any pressure to the area, as the Botox that was injected could migrate.  Good luck! 

Botox takes more than 24 hours to work for >99% of users. If you have a bump before 24 hours, then likely you have a deep bruise. This will resolve in 3-10 days. Best of luck!

It is likely that the botox may have caused a small bruise. If so, this often gets better in a few days.

Since this is in the early hours after injection it is most likely swelling from the injection or a bruise that has not completely manifested itself and should go away in a week or so at most

Hello thank you for your question. If you have developed a bump after Botox that did not resolve within the first few it hours it could be a deep bruise. This is not uncommon and will resolve in a few days. You can use ice, but it is not required. If you don't see the lump improving I would contact your provider and get an assessment. It's too soon to see the effect of the Botox. The bump probably represents underlying bruising or swelling related to the Botox injection itself and should improve on its own over the next few hours to days. If it does not, I would followup with your injector.

It's been two days since you noticed the bump which could be a local reaction to Botox or a small bruise. Has it decreased in size or changed color? As you know, bruises change color as it resolves.
Resist the tendency to manipulate the areas or to put any sort of pressure on it, to avoid unwanted migration of Botox.
If it has grown any bigger or if other symptoms have manifested, please consult your injector.
