I have small very saggy breasts after a 80 lb weight loss in 2007. I have no volume. I want to have a breast lift with small implants plus an arm lift at same time. I have lean torso so its just loose skin. I work from home at a desk. Is it feasible for me to start back to work in a week? Will there be arm numbness? Approx how long till I feel normal. The arm part is what I am concerned about. I had a tummy tuck 6 months ago and I healed very quickly. I am 52
Answer: Too tight IMHO that is a reckless plan and an unrealistic recovery timeframe; you need no less than 1 month of recovery, I'd rather set your self in any poor healing issue and plan 5-6 weeks off work and any kind of duties.

Answer: Breast lift with implant and arm lift Hello and thank you for your question. Congratulations on your weight loss. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. With that being said, based on your photographs, the best shape and contour could be achieved with an implant and a wise pattern breast lift. The size, profile, and shape of the implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall measurements, and soft tissue quality. This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. An arm lift can be performed at the same time. I cannot fully evaluate your arms based on this photograph and an in-person consultation will be very helpful. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Breast lift with implants and arm lift Thank you for the question and photo. You appear to be a good candidate for both. Recovery from the breast augmentation and lift is easier than the arm lift. Of course that depends on how long the arm lift incision is and if liposuction is performed. If it's just skin removal the recovery can be quicker. Some numbness can occur after the arm lift but in most cases it is reversible. 7-10 days is a reasonable recovery time after surgery. Best of luck with your upcoming surgery. Dr. Khuthaila

Answer: Arm lift with breast implants and lift This is a common combination and can address the lateral chest area in between. Allow several days to a week on average to return to work.An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to discuss your options and expectations.

Answer: Excess skin You are a good candidate for a breast lift and implant insertion. I would stage the procedures and not do them at the same time. It would be easier recoveries and I believe you would have a better result.
