Based on these pictures am I a Botox jaw reduction candidate?

Hello, thank you for your question. It appear that you may benefit from Botox injected in your masseter. A physical examination is needed, I recommend you to schedule a consultation to discuss about your treatment. 

From your pictures it looks like you would be a candidate for neuromodulator injection into the masseters.  It does take some time to see results, but with regular injections you would likely see some slimming of the jawline.

Hi,Thank you for your question and sharing your photos.Botox for masseter reduction requires an in person evaluation to assess the strength of the muscle with active clenching. It is difficult to evaluate with photos alone, particularly at different angles.Hope that helps! 

An in-person exam would be best to assess the strength of the masseter muscles while clenching your teeth. 

you are a candidate but that will slim the jaw and sometimes can make the skin more lax.  I suggest you get a formal consultation to determine if this is the best option for your facial shape.There are many options for jawline contouring:

Unfortunately without being able to see a relaxed, and clenched, jaw picture, nor being able to examine you in person, it is difficult to offer definite advice.  If when chewing your jaw muscles become more prominent, then Botox may provide you with a reduction in your jaw profile.  Hope this helps.

It does appear from your photos that you have a bit of width to the lower part of your face, corresponding to the masseter muscle.  I think some Botox to masseters will help to slim things down in that region over time.  Additionally, if you grind your teeth at night or are a teeth clencher, some Botox to this area will most definitely help.  I suggest you go to see a trained doctor for evaluation and treatment of this area.

Hello and thank you for your question.  The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  If you have masseter hypertrophy, then botox can be very effective for slimming the lower face.  This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon.   Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

Thanks for your question, the most important step in the decision how to treat your enlargement of the jawline, mandibular angle, is an examination. If the Masseter muscle is enlarged, Botox would be an excellent option.

Yes, it does seem that you would be a good candidate for Masseter reduction with Botox.  That being said, without an in-person consultation, it is difficult to determine with any certainty if Botox is the best next step for your needs.  I would recommend scheduling an in-person visit with an experienced provider to determine the best way to achieve your treatment goals.
