Hello, it is technically possible to have a full tummy tuck after you've had a mini tummy tuck. You could have another assessment by your surgeon to determine whether this is appropriate for you.
Hello, Thank you for your question. It is difficult to provide arecommendation without a full assessment. I'd recommend booking a consultation with aBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon to determine what your options would be.Take care.
Thank you for your question and photos. It is difficult to tell you what you need with only one photo, so you should be seen by a board certified plastic surgeon to have a physical evaluation. You might require high definition lipo of the abdomen. All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
It is difficult to tell what the skin tone of your abdomen is but you appear to have a high belly button, in which case a mini with an umbilical float might be an option. A full tummy tuck is not always possible in those situations without a "T" closure.
An examination is needed to be sure but you may be a candidate for a standard tummy tuck. This would remove excess fat and skin and correct abdominal wall laxity both above and below the belly button. Because the position of your belly button is higher you may have a small vertical scar to get you the best results. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.
It appears there is still some extra skin, fat and loose muscle left. I would recommend a re do tummy tuck with an umbilical float, you should get an excellent result.Good Luck!
I dont think you have enough skin for a full tummy tuck, also your umbilicus is really high, what make it more difficult to have a good result from this surgery. The best option I can think for you is a modified Tummy tuck umbilical float and muscle repair. Find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and discuss what will be theproper treatment to achieve the result you desires.Regards,Dr. Luis Redondo
It would be best to seek the opinion of other plastic surgeons in your area. Mini abdominoplasty has limited indications - and the muscle repair makes a big difference in the appearance of the abdomen. If you are open to revision, it may be possible for you to see an improvement.
You could absolutely benefit from some rejuvenation of the abdomen. You seem to keep yourself in great shape so you should be able to have a great outcome. A single photo doesn't give me what I would need to make a recommendation. I would suggest getting some pre-op photos from all angles, post op photos taken soon after surgery and a copy of your operative report to share with the plastic surgeon you select to perform your surgery.
Not necessarily. In order to have a full TT you have to have enough excess skin (and tissue) ABOVE the BB to be able to reach down to wherever you want the lower abdominal incision to be. Based on your photo I'm not sure that that's the case for you.On the other hand, re-doing the modified TT could provide an improvement via the use of additional liposuction and tightening the skin. If you have the BB floated you could also achieve a measure of abdominal wall tightening. You will benefit from an in-person consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can assess your tissues and make one or more recommendations based on that. What you'll decide to do will then depend on what you want, and what you're willing to undergo.I hope that this helps and good luck,Dr. Alan EnglerMember of #RealSelf100@RealSelf
I highly encourage your friend to stop using cigarettes, meth, or any other drug not approved by her surgeon. Cigarettes contain nicotine which constricts blood vessels. This can lead to delayed healing, wounds, necrosis, and infection. Meth is simply dangerous and can lead to a host of...
From the photos submitted it appears you would have been a better candidate for a full tummy tuck. It appears there is adequate skin and would have given you a more complete result. I encourage you to speak to your surgeon and potentially get a second opinion on how to proceed.
During a mini tummy tuck your surgeon will be limited in how much muscle repair can be performed. The area below the belly button can be addressed but that may leave a protruding area above the tummy giving a "muffin top" look. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for an...
