I had my TT 4 weeks ago and I'm really starting to regret having this procedure, im my opinion my belly looked better before than it does now, I feel so horrible and ugly. Please tell me it will be ok :(
Answer: Four weeks post op I know it's hard to be patient but you are still early in your recovery and are not yet seeing your final results. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon and follow post op instructions. At six months you'll have your final results and can consider a conversion to a full tuck or other options if needed.

Answer: Poor results from mini TT It's unfortunate that you had to experience this. Wait about six months to assess your results, and if at that time you can discuss revision with your surgeon. You may have benefited from more skin tightening.

Answer: Mini Tummy Tuck with muscle repair, I look awful! I am sorry to hear about your concerns after tummy tuck surgery. Unfortunately, online consultants will not be your best source for reassurance; I would suggest that you communicate your questions/concerns directly with your plastic surgeon. Hopefully, he/she can show you some examples of what you may look like longer-term. Hopefully, with ongoing healing and resolution of swelling, skin redraping etc., you will be pleased with the longer-term outcome of the procedure performed. Best wishes.

Answer: Mini Tummy Tuck Thanks for your question. Very rarely does a patient come along that is a good candidate for the mini tummy tuck procedure. With your level of skin laxity, it seems you would have benefited from a full tummy tuck. It is still early... I would wait a few months and then consider going in to see your surgeon to discuss your options. All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL

Answer: Mini tummy tuck versus full tummy tuck Sorry to hear about your concerns. In our practice, mini tummy tucks are very, very rare. It takes the right patient anatomy and that usually happens only in a very small percentage of patients. Patients gravitate to the term "mini tummy tuck" because they like the idea of a smaller incision. You can see many patients on this forum who have regretted mini tummy tucks when they needed a full tummy tuck. When one is unhappy with the results, it can be helpful to get a second opinion. Also, wait at least 6 months from your original surgery before having any secondary surgery.
