Hey. I want to know if I am a good candidate for alar base reduction, also if this can help for finding symmetry between 2 assymetrical nostrils (one is more exposed than the other) Also,what techniques or procedures are the best if u want to find a good proportion between nostrils and they are retracted.

In my opinion an alar base reduction performed carefully as a wedge would flatten the alar flare. This can be performed without excising any part of the nostril sil which can narrow the nostril airway ( i.e the inlet for the air ). In my opinion only proceed with what you feel unhappy about....
