this problem is one of the most common post operative concerns after a lower lid blepharoplasty. It usually resolves after the muscle tone returns to the eyelid and the taping or daily upward massage help raise the lid until this happens. It can take 3 months sometimes to resolve. Occasionally a procedure called a canthopexy is done to tighten a loose lower lid if the position does not return to its preop position. Stilll this should not be done for many months as ectropions usually resolve with non operative management. Stay in close communication with your PS during this time.Best Regards, Prashant Soni M.D.

Also stay in close contact with them for any change in plans.I hope this helps :-)

It is probably best to perform the eyelid surgery first, and then approximately 8 weeks later you can undergo fractionated laser resurfacing which can also laser the incision as well to improve it. Potentially both procedures could be performed together under one anesthesia with one r...
Thank you for your question. You are 41-years-old, and asking if your eye bags are caused by fat or fluid. You add that you have sinus and allergy issues, and your bags are worse in the morning, but never completely go away. You also say the bags feel like bone. I can certainly help guide...
The first step would be to see your surgeon. it looks like you had surgery on your levator muscle? you may be 'allergic' to the deep sutures placed during surgery? i have definitely seen that as second opinions and have gone back to remove reactive sutures and place non reactive ones. when there...
