Should a simple eye pinch, where surgeon is only removing skin and not repositioning/removing fat be less expensive than an eye pinch, where they are just tightening/trimming excess skin? Or are they always the same price. Thanks.
Answer: Excess Skin or Fat or Both Depending on what you need and want, you and your surgeon can make a decision about what procedure to go through with. In many cases, patients benefit from the removal of both the excess fat and the skin. If your surgeon decides that you do not need to have any fat removal, they can just remove the excess skin, and may charge you less than a complete lower blepharoplasty. Answer: Lower blepharoplasty The difference between a lower blepharoplasty and a pinch blepharoplasty is that the pinch blepharoplasty removes skin only and a lower blepharoplasty removes herniated fat. In many cases, there is a benefit from both procedures being performed at the same time. Most surgeons perform the lower blepharoplasty by making an incision within the eye itself, and therefore this does not address the skin.

Answer: Skin pinch v.s lower blepharoplasty Skin pinch is referred to removal of excess skin under the eyes without removing any fat that lead to puffiness. This procedure is also known as mini bleph. A completed lower blepharoplasty requires more extensive surgery removal and repositioning of the fat as well as reduction of excess skin with laser or excision of it. There are higher risks involved with complete lower blepharoplasty. However, in the hands of experience surgeon lower blepharoplasty if very rewarding. Lower Blepharoplasty in 3-4 times more expensive than a just skin pinch.

Answer: Blepharoplasty Lower blepharoplasty is the name of the procedure to rejuvenate the appearance of the lower eyelids. This can involve a wide range of techniques and strategies including skin excision, fat removal, fat repositioning, muscle tightening, canthal tightening, etc. Every surgeon has their specific technique of doing a lower blepharoplasty on a given patient. An "eye pinch" or "pinch blepharoplasty" likely refers to removing a small amount of skin to try and get tightening. I have not done this procedure as an isolated method of rejuvenating the lower lids because I do not believe this technique on its own is that powerful. It may be helpful in getting additional tightening when doing a full lower blepharoplasty. If the patient truly does not need any fat removal/repositioning, muscle tightening, or canthal tightening, then they are probably better off getting a non-invasive treatment like a chemical peel, filler, or laser. I'm not sure what you mean by "simple eye pinch" vs "eye pinch" as these sound like the same procedure. I would imagine a full lower blepharoplasty would be more expensive than a skin pinch excision.
