I had a primary rhinoplasty over a year ago with cartilage grafts placed. I got nose filler recently to fill in an indent around my tip/nostril area and some in the bridge. I’m not loving the way it looks and am now concerned that if i get the filler dissolved the pressure of it being there will have displaced cartilage/some of the work that was done during the rhinoplasty. Is this something to worry about or will my nose be just as it was before the fiiller?

Answer: Rhinoplasty and Fillers Hello and thank you for your question. Dissolving filler is unlikely to affect/disrupt the osseo-cartilaginous (the bone and cartilage) framework of your rhinoplasty. Once your filler is dissolved, your nose appearance will likely be similar to what it was before the filler was injected. For more information on rhinoplasty, please refer to my link below. Answer: Dissolving Filler Hi there! Thanks for your questions. Dissolving the filler, if done carefully, won't likely do much to the shape of your nose. It will return to the form it had before assuming no scar tissue has developed from placement of the filler. As you probably know, there are ways to add volume for divots to the nose aside from filler. Temporalis fascia and cartilage grafts can often be performed with lasting results. Hope this helps!
